Todos los juegos de CalmPlay se desarrollan internamente: Sudoku, 2048, Solitario Klondike, Buscaminas y la interfaz de Ajedrez se escribieron para este sitio, incluidas sus cartas, piezas, símbolos y logotipo. Las ideas de juego subyacentes pertenecen al dominio público.

Motor de ajedrez: Stockfish (GPL-3.0)

El rival controlado por el ordenador es Stockfish, un motor de ajedrez libre y de código abierto. Distribuimos sin modificar la versión WebAssembly «lite» de un solo hilo del paquete npm stockfish@18.0.8 (proyecto original: github.com/nmrugg/stockfish.js, adaptación WASM de Stockfish oficial):
