Fill the 9×9 grid so that every row, every column, and every 3×3 box contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once. That is the entire game. Some cells are already filled – on the easy tier, generously so – and each of our puzzles has exactly one solution, verified by machine.

Easy puzzles yield completely to two beginner techniques – by design:
Scanning
Take a digit that appears often, and sweep its rows and columns across the grid. In many boxes only one cell remains where it can legally go. Place it, and the board loosens further.
Singles
Look at a single empty cell and list what its row, column, and box already rule out. If only one candidate survives, that’s a naked single — write it in. Its cousin, the hidden single, hides in a row, column, or box where some digit has only one possible home left.
