The short version. CalmPlay is deliberately built so that playing generates as little data as possible:
- No accounts, no sign-up. There are no user accounts; we do not collect names, e-mail addresses, or any other profile data.
- No cookies. This website sets no cookies — none of its own, none from third parties, neither functional nor for tracking. That is why there is no cookie banner here.
- No local storage. localStorage, sessionStorage, and comparable browser storage are not used; every game starts fresh.
- No ads, no ad networks, no sharing of data with advertisers.
- No analytics services, no tracking. This website embeds no audience measurement and no analytics tools — neither Google Analytics nor any other. No third-party scripts are loaded.
- No newsletters, no contact forms, no payment processing. If any of this is added later, this policy will be updated before publication.
Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare). The website is delivered as a static site via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When pages are requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (in particular the IP address) to deliver content, protect against attacks, and diagnose faults; this processing takes place on our behalf under a data processing agreement incorporating EU standard contractual clauses for third-country transfers. We do not keep server log files of our own.
Legal basis. To the extent any personal data arises at all (technical connection data when pages are requested), the legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and the corresponding UK GDPR provision).
Your rights. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have, in particular, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hello@calmplay.app to exercise them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU with your competent data-protection authority, in the United Kingdom with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
